Welcome To Sikh Satsang Of Indianapolis

Worship, Reflection & Community Gathering

Sikh Satsang of Indianapolis is a place of worship, reflection and community gathering. It is open 7 days a week from 5:30 am to 8:00 pm and welcomes people of all faiths, race or ethnicity.

Sikh Satsang of Indianapolis originated in the late 1960s and the Gurdwara building was constructed in 1999. The next expansion of the Gurdwara building is currently in progress and is being done to serve the needs of the next generation and the growing Sikh Sangat in Indiana.

Sikh Satsang of Indianapolis is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization with a duly elected executive committee and a board of trustees supported by a large team of dedicated volunteers and a resident team of religious sewaks (volunteers).

There is no formal membership fee; everyone is welcome to join the worship community/fellowship. The average attendance is about 300 people, often including out-of-town guests: interfaith and civic leaders, law enforcement officials, students from local schools and colleges, and the heads of service, community and cultural organizations.

Over the years, the Sikh Satsang has generously supported local events and humanitarian projects, interfaith hunger initiatives, fundraising efforts for disaster relief, and has participated in educational and interfaith forums and in events such as the 500 Festival Parade, Festival of Faiths, the Asian American Alliance’s Race for All Races, school programs and many other events and celebrations in Indiana.

If you would like more information about the Sikh Faith, please visit the Satsang during any of the regularly scheduled programs (see below) or contact any of the committee members.

Everyone is welcome to attend!
